The year 2020 is not the year that the ultimate human dream came true. It is the year that we had to embrace illogical, abnormal, or absurd behaviour. We have lost our social, haptic, and spatial experience. One of the greatest theatre plays of all time, Waiting for Godot, is strongly relevant today, absurdly. The consequences of object-making have been shifted as well. Thus, not only are we waiting for Godot, but also we should be able to ‘searching’ for Godot.

The aim is to search for shifting relationships between objects, functions, and behaviour. Objects that we encounter every day to let our bodies move, touch, and motivate.

I have been questioning the relationship and acknowledgment between objects and my attitude toward them. I have been shown via three-dimensional works, but they are not eternal when the material is used as a medium in the time of an absurd world. I shifted my perspective to look at my practice as well as searching for a shifted relationship.

Now, I’m expanding additionally with experimental video works as one of the ways of sharing the experience with others, rather than relying on the form only. I hope that this initiative will function as an interface for my future work, and I would gladly like to invite you to the new stage in search of new engagement.
